Hi! My name is Emily, and I’m a producer, director, writer and theatremaker, born just outside of Washington D.C and currently based in Brooklyn, NY. I am a recent graduate of Brown University, where I studied History with a focus on gender, war, and the ancient world and a longstanding passion for giving voice to the stories that lie in between historical margins. My deep love for storytelling has led me to the theatre, where I direct/create company-based work exploring and overturning gender and sexuality constructs within classical texts, and produce as wide a variety of work as I can to amplify as many different voices as I can.
